In copywriting, and writing in general, it’s a good idea to take this long-term approach from time to time. Ruminating, exploring, analysing, and most importantly, letting ideas marinate so they can be polished and refined.

It’s more difficult to get this kind of time in the ChatGPT era. I’ve noticed some clients expecting work faster than a greyhound on speed without caring as much about the quality and creativity that actually resonates with an audience.

You can get great work. You can get rushed work. More often than not, you can’t get both.
